Plagiarism Screening

Journal of Sustainable Community Service Editorial Team acknowledges that plagiarism is unacceptable and has established the following policy detailing the specific actions (penalties) to be taken when plagiarism is found in articles submitted for publication.

Definition:
Plagiarism is an act intentionally or unintentionally to obtain or attempt to obtain credit or value for a scientific work by quoting one or all of the scientific works and/or works of other parties recognized as scientific works, without citing the source accurately and completely.

For that, then:
Articles published in the Jurnal Ekonomi Kreatif dan Manajemen Bisnis Digital (JEKOMBITAL) must be free from plagiarism. Therefore, manuscripts submitted in journals will be checked for similarity using Plagiarism Checker/Turnitin. Hence, if the early reviewal inspection the manuscript has a similarity of more than 25% (except quotes and references) the manuscript will be rejected and the manuscript review process will not be continued. If the similarity less than 25%, the author must revise and pharaphase the similarity of the writing process and the review will be continued to the next stage. The above mentioned process conducted in accordance with the rules below:

Plagiarism Rate
1. Plagiarize a few short sentences from other articles without citing the source.

Action: The author is given a warning and a request to change the text and citations properly.

2. Plagiarized most of the other articles without proper citation and not citing the source.

Action: The submitted article is rejected for publication in the Sibatik Journal and the author may be penalized for not being allowed to be published in the JSCS JOURNAL

Since they all signed the JSCS JOURNAL Publication Ethics Statement Form, all article authors are responsible for the content of the articles they submit. If an article is found plagiarized, all authors will face the same penalty. If it is confirmed that the author submitted the paper to JSCS JOURNAL while also submitting it to another journal, and this overlap is discovered during the review process or after publication, action is taken following point 2 above. If plagiarism is found outside the standards mentioned above, the JSCS JOURNAL editor has the authority to impose sanctions according to the policy of the editorial team.

*Each submitted manuscript will undergo a Turnitin scan for similarity check. Any manuscript exceeding a similarity rate of 25% will be rejected and not considered for further evaluation. We place a strong emphasis on originality and academic honesty. Manuscripts containing substantial plagiarism will not be considered for publication. Authors should verify the authenticity of their work and give proper credit to their sources to prevent plagiarism problems during the review process.
